Still trying to figure out how to show Bruce & JoAnn as much of the beauty as we can in just a few days. Kent & Annie joined us on a run thru Arrastra Gulch, an area of many mines & mills from the 1800s. While many of the mines built there own mills, there are also signs of the old tramway built to haul ore to a mill below. The trail reaches an elevation of a little over 12,000 feet. It's about six miles one way and takes a little over an hour to drive (not counting stops to "smell the roses" and take a few pictures. We had sunny weather; we had cold wind; we had grapple (small sleet) all in the span of a few hours.
