Charles & Jane, Brett & Alexis, and Jim & I drove out Animas later in the afternoon to watch the runners come across and down the mountain into Burrows checkpoint and out again headed toward Engineer.
Charles took the pictures with the date stamp on them.

28 year old Kilian Jornet from Spain was the first runner in; followed by several others.
However, he wins first place again; breaking records - again, finishing in 23 hours, 28 minutes.
Second place was over two hours behind him.
