May 23, 24 HIGHWAY TO ALBUQUERQUE

I thought we were being insanely stupid when we left Texas with the weather forecasts.  We did encounter some highway flooding in the smaller towns on Hwy 287.  At one point Jim was ready to pull over, but there was no place to pull over.  We were straddling the middle of the highway and the outside lanes were flooded.  Now that we are safely in Albuquerque with it's beautiful DRY, blue skies and pleasant temperatures, I am glad that we left; especially when I watch the horrible storms that are devastating Texas and other states.  Prayers with those people.

We had a good visit with Tessa and family in RC.  I was able to make the monthly SGHS alumni dinner and see my brother, David:
I sure miss this guy:

I am having difficulties getting the blog up and running this year.  If this works, I will add some pictures later.
