May 28-30 NORTH RIM of GRAND CANYON, CONDORS@VERMILLION

A night's sleep at Flagstaff and then onto the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.  We visited the lodge area the first day; Imperial Point the second day.

We drove out to Vermillion Cliffs to try to view Condors.  Unfortunately, we got lost and arrived too late to see the condors up close.  Here is a chart to show you just how large they are.  The outer black silhouette is the Condor; the white a Golden Eagle; inner a Red-tailed Hawk: 

We were able to watch them soaring from a distance.
