June 4th The Highway to Silverton

It's been a nice diversion being in the desert for a couple of weeks, but enough of this hot weather already.  I am ready for our "Summer Home."  Today finds us headed to Silverton,

Site #10 & much cooler weather waiting on us.

Just north of Durango, we run into some big-horned sheep.

Whatever they were licking was good enough that they were not moving for any reason:

 Mountain tops and side of road snow-covered.
